Account information
- How secure is my account information?
Completely secure. AmericanOutdoor.net is committed to protecting the security and privacy of your information. For details on the security of your transactions, please click on Store Policy on the left side of the home page.
Canceling an Order
Orders cannot be cancelled once the checkout process has been completed. Due to our commitment to process orders quickly, once the checkout process is completed our warehouse is immediately notified to pull and ship your order for shipment. We regret any inconvenience that this may cause you.
- How do I cancel an order?
Our focus on customer satisfaction means items are processed and shipped quickly! We actually process your order from our warehouse within hours. Consequently, if you ask us to cancel an order, it is most likely being processed and we will be unable to cancel it.
Credit Card Transactions
- Are credit card transactions on AmericaOutdoor.net safe?
Absolutely! In fact, it's statistically safer to use your credit card over the Internet than in a restaurant or department store. AmericaOutdoor.net's servers use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), an encryption technology that works with Netscape Navigator, Microsoft Internet Explorer, and AOL's browser, so that only AmericaOutdoor.net can read a customer's personal information.
- Why would my card be declined if there are sufficient funds in my account?
In order to protect our customers from fraudulent transactions, the billing and shipping address is verified through your credit card company. If the billing address on your AmericaOutdoor.net account differs from the billing address on your bank's records, you could be declined. Please verify that your account information is correct, and then notify your credit card company to ensure that they have your most up-to-date information. Additionally, we do not have the capability to validate funds on cards issued by foreign banks.

We do not accept money orders. We accept all major credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover as well as PayPal.
Prices
- Would I ever see similar items at lower prices elsewhere?
AmericaOutdoor.net takes great care to ensure we provide quality products at great bargain prices. Our average markdown is 52 percent below the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP).
On rare occasions, lower prices may be found at a local retailer. These are usually limited-time offers sold below cost, created to entice you into the store to buy additional products at non-discounted prices. Our buyers regularly conduct price comparisons against other online stores and retailers and we always price our products so that they are substantially less expensive. When you shop online with us, you can be sure of great prices across the board.
- Would I ever find the MSRP listed lower at other stores?
The manufacturer establishes the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Prices. In principle, this provides a single point of comparison for all retailers. We always contact manufacturers direct to procure accurate MSRP's but cannot be responsible for the information published by other retailers.
- What is your policy on price changes?
All prices are subject to change without notice. In order to continually refresh your product options, we sometimes change our prices to move inventory quickly. However, we realize the need to be sensitive to previous purchases, and we will offer a coupon toward your next purchase when the price of an item you just purchased has been reduced within 5 days after the date your order was originally placed. Please contact us at custservice@americaoutdoor.net within 5 days of placing your order so we can issue your coupon.
Sales Tax
- Does AmericaOutdoor.net charge sales tax?
State laws require that internet retailers collect sales tax in states where they are resident. AmericaOutdoor.net is currently resident in the state of Kansas. Subsequently we are required to charge applicable taxes in Kansas.
Shipping Policy
- How long will it take to receive my merchandise?
As soon as you 'check out' online, AmericaOutdoor.net is receiving and processing your order. The shipping time depends greatly on a number of factors - shipment, location and the particular time of year. You should expect your delivery time to be 7 to 21 business days. - How will I receive my merchandise?
AmericaOutdoor.net's merchandise will be shipped using Ground Service unless otherwise specified, some items may be shipped directly from the manufacturer to customers.
